The integers you are working with are the row and column indexes of the underlying raster object. To find out what these values should be when dealing with geographic coordinates you can use the  method of the  class.

GridGeometry

Can someone tell me the right direction to create GeoTIFF DEM with geotools? Can geotools create GeoTIFF DEM from meshed x, y and Z coordinates?

x. The values of Y and Z are integers, integers, double precision. However, after re projection, the data coordinates become double precision, double precision, double precision. Gridcoverage2d only accepts X and y as integers. I can round, but I’m not sure this will be the right way.
